What is a data contract in Theom?
A data contract is your policy for how a set of data can be used, attached to the data so it is enforced at the point the data is accessed or moved. It lets teams and partners exchange data while your rules travel with it.
How is enforcing at movement different from enforcing at access?
Access controls decide whether someone can reach data in the first place, and stop there. Theom also enforces at the point of movement, so when data is shared onward to another team, partner, or environment, the policy that governed it continues to apply instead of falling away.
Can Theom show us where data leaves its source?
